Karaoke is chaos with rules.
Karaoke works because everyone agrees to a few invisible rules. Break all of them and congrats, you are the subplot.
Respect the rotation
The host is balancing slips, regulars, first-timers, duets, and crowd flow. Asking every six minutes does not make time move faster.
Do not steal the mic
Jumping into someone's song uninvited is not confidence. It is audio trespassing.
Cheer for people
First-timers are carrying a lot of nerves. Clap, cheer, and let the room feel safe enough for the next person to try.
